Introduction Post

My name is Hilijos Exume. I enjoy watching movies, tv shows and anime. I also like reading books. Basically, I enjoy very good storytelling. Whether it's through a screen or on a page, stories are a way for me to see new worlds and perspectives. As much as I love stories, I also like music. I consider myself to be very “musically tolerate” because I am open to many genres. Music heightens my emotions: negative and positive. Currently, I am casually learning a language, keeping up with daily exercise and playing the piano. I enjoy being open to new experiences and wish I could do more. Especially since I feel as though I spend too much time on the computer then I need to.

My identity in a larger scope is that I am a brother, a son, a friend, a student, a co-worker and an employee. These are my titles on a regular basis as they are my relationships with people. I believe that most people who know me, regard me as an introvert. I am prone to keeping to myself. In school I am a design student. I have an interest in creativity and I believe graphic design to be the most broad discipline in creative arts. I feel like I can express many creative projects through graphic design. Since I go to school and work in Newark. I feel it same to consider myself a part of the Newark community. However, I lived in Bloomfield since grade school. So I know the township of Bloomfield better.

In an even larger scope, I am a Haitian-American male, a member of the black race. Essentially, I am a part of the human race. Even though I (like everybody else) look different, I still walk, talk, sleep and eat like every other human on earth. This is very broad, but it is still a part of who I am and is important because it is who I will always be.
